Great opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (CNC) to work with an American defense and aerospace component leader, located just west of Gastonia, NC
Our client is a major government and commercial industry supplier looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (CNC) to fill a role focused on complex CNC Programming with Siemens NX CAM or ESPRIT, manufacturing process development, and capital project support
Responsibilities:
- Write CNC programs for lathes and Turn-Mills using Esprit.
- Verify CNC programs using Vericut.
- Develops, prepares, and maintains manufacturing processes.
- Responsible for methods improvements of manufacturing processes to provide most economical means of production.
- Provides technical support for plant layout, purchase of equipment, upgrade of equipment, feasibility studies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in engineering or Associates degree in addition to 5 years of relevant CNC programming experience
- Experience with Siemens NX or ESPRIT CAD software
