Job Summary

As a General Project Manager / Scrum Master , you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the successful delivery of projects using Agile methodologies. You will ensure the Agile methodology is understood and enacted by serving as a coach and facilitator for Agile teams. You will empower teams to self-organize and collaborate effectively while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management:
• Plan and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring clear goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Scrum Master:
• Act as a Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective).
• Coach team members on Agile principles and practices.
• Remove obstacles that hinder team productivity and escalate issues when necessary.
• Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Engage with stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Drive continuous improvement within the project teams by promoting Agile best practices.
• Facilitate retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
• Encourage a culture of learning and innovation within the project teams.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and Agile frameworks.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Working Conditions

This is a hybrid position working remotely from our Cincinnati, Ohio office. You would be expected to be in the office at least 25% of the time and no more than 50%.
