Job Description
The Sales Development Representative (“SDR”) finds and screens prospective schools that could benefit from our client’s products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process. It excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. The SDR is a quick learner with strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our client’s program in a compelling way.
*This is a 3 month contract at 40 hours per week with the potential for a permanent offer.
**This is a hybrid role and will require a minimum of two days per week in office.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage Account Executives in the next steps.
● Evaluate and vet inbound leads to determine their potential value.
● Conduct thorough research to understand a school’s needs and pain points and develop relevant responses.
● Coordinate with the sales team to schedule initial meetings and follow-ups.
● Assist in developing strategies to increase sales volume and efficiency.
● Collaborate with the sales team to optimize outreach methods and messaging.
● Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook.
● Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales results.
● Act as a liaison between marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure smooth sales discussions.
Desirable Skills & Experience
● Previous experience in a sales support or coordination role is preferred.
● Strong organizational and time management skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
● Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
● Familiarity with sales software and CRM systems is a plus.
● Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
