Framingham Animal Hospital is Hiring a Client Service Representative Near Framingham, MA

Busy, progressive small animal hospital in Framingham is currently looking for a highly motivated full-time career Client Service Representative to join our talented team. We are a family-oriented practice that provides exceptional customer service to our clientele with the focus on maintaining a personal relationship with each pet that we see. Each member of our staff understands and represents the common goals of the practice and the importance of what their role is. We are looking for individuals who want to be a part of a medical care team that strives for excellence.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience at a receptionist position is required.

Veterinary knowledge and cornerstone software familiarity is highly preferable but not necessary.

Applicants must have a professional work ethic, positive personality, excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast paced environment, and project a friendly and caring attitude to all individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and their pets and complete the appointment check in process which includes: inputting information into the computer, confirming the reason for the appointment, and confirming the client's contact information.
  • Assist clients with check-out using the practice management software system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards and setting future appointments for follow-up visits.
  • Answer phone calls and emails from clients requesting appointments and asking questions about their pet.
  • Make outbound phone calls to remind clients of upcoming appointments as well as reminding owners to fast their pet for surgery.
  • Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology and pet behavior.
