Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in all aspects of store operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in retail management.
Duties:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the store runs smoothly
- Manage and supervise store employees, providing guidance and support as needed
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Handle cash register operations, including processing sales transactions and providing excellent customer service
- Help develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning for the store
- Recruit, train, and onboard new employees
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is required
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of cash register operations and retail math
- Experience with budgeting, payroll, and inventory management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
