Position Summary:

The Service Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electric vehicle charging equipment, primarily in Oklahoma. This position will ensure that charging stations are in optimal working condition, provides technical support to customers, and contributes to the expansion of EV charging infrastructure. The EV Service Technician will report directly to the EV Lead Service Technician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Competent in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. This position will have the ability to troubleshoot configurations for cellular modems and other basic interfaces.

· Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure charging stations are clean, free of debris, and in good working condition.

· Diagnose and resolve technical issues with charging stations, such as power supply problems, connectivity issues, or damaged components.

· Replace faulty components, cables, connectors, and perform software updates when required.

· Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repair, and installation activities.

· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of both customers and technicians.

· Communicate with supervisors, dispatch, and other team members to coordinate service calls and prioritize maintenance tasks. Provide regular updates on the status of repair and maintenance activities.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education in electrical or electronic engineering is a plus

· Relevant experience in electrical maintenance or a related field

· Knowledge of electric vehicle charging technology and equipment is a plus

· Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

· EVITP certification preferred

Working Conditions:

· Service Technicians for EV Charging Stations may work both indoors and outdoors.

· The job may involve working in various weather conditions.

· Irregular work hours may be required for emergency repairs or maintenance.
