The Swamp Fox Restaurant located in the historic Francis Marion Hotel, serves classic Southern dishes such as Fried Green Tomatoes, She Crab Soup, and award winning Shrimp 'N Grits. The Swamp Fox Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with room service available daily.
Responsibilities:
*Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays in order to maintain established sanitation guidelines.
*Set-up and deliver all VIP amenities.
*Service all hospitality suites in accordance with BEO and established policy and procedures.
*Complete all shift side work as outlined in the hotel's operating policies and procedures.
*Respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales.
*Perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with Hotel policies and procedures.
*Checking to make sure that all pre-orders go up in a timely and professional way as outlined in training.
*Answering the phone in room service area, and ringing in the proper orders to the kitchen.
*Assisting in the dining room where needed, and polishing glasses, and rolling, polishing silverware.
Requirements:
Physical Demands in the Work Environment
Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds.
SHIFTS ARE:
FULL TIME: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6:45 am - 1:30 pm.
PART TIME: Thursday, Friday, 6:45 am - 1:30 pm
