• Plans and implements learning activities.
• Supervises and evaluates child care students.
• Develops rapport with parents and participates in parent events.
• Participates in professional development.
• Maintains required records.
• Follows all OKDHS licensing requirements.
• Ability to be present on the job as described under working conditions and contract details.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in Child Development/Early Childhood or CDA preferred.
• Two years’ experience working with children in group setting.
• Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder Certificate (OPDL) required.
• Entry Level Child Care Training Certificate (ELCCT) required.
• CPR & First Aid Certification required.
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.

Working ConditionsOccasional light lifting may be required as well as moving light furniture. Supervision of children on the playground and participation in other child oriented activities.
