- Responsible for appropriate distribution of patient care resources in order to comply with established staffing guidelines.
- Communicate potentially significant issues on a timely basis in order to facilitate continuity of investigation and resolution. (via chain of command)
- Serve as hospital administrator during tour of duty in order to assure consistent direction and leadership of organizational activities.
- Identify and places all patients, including direct admits and transfers.
- Collaborate with other departments to prioritize and authorize all bed placements.
- Conduct daily bed briefing meetings with clinical areas.
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
- Master's Degree - Preferred
- 3 years Patient Care/Nursing - Required
- 2 years Charge Nurse or demonstrated leadership skills - Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State license
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
