Position Summary:

Frank Beverage Group in Middleton, WI is now hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate - Event and Distributor Order Picker. The 1st Shift Warehouse Associate - Event and Distributor Order Picker is responsible for the organization and picking of special orders.

Schedule

Monday- Friday, 6:00am- 2:30pm (end time may vary due to seasonality; flexibility is a MUST)

Responsibilities

• Work with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Place products on racks, shelves and rows according to pre-determined sequences such as size, type, or product code
• Pick and build customer orders accurately
• Put away returns as they come in
• Pick orders for Special Events and Distributor Orders
• Check in Special Events as they come in
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required

2 years warehouse knowledge preferred

• Must obtain knowledge of supplier policies especially freshness standards and product markings
• Experience with forklifts is preferred; ability to obtain company forklift and equipment certifications is required
• Possess an analytical and mechanical aptitude
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivated
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely
• Ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and comprehend verbal and/or written communications
• Ability to communicate with employees, supervisors, managers and customers in respectful manner
• Ability to learn and operate all the necessary equipment safely
• Ability to operate a computer, hand-held computer, voice picking commands and scanner
• Ability to interpret invoices

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis and up to 160 pounds on an occasional basis
• Walk and stand for long periods of time; bending, twisting, squatting, lifting
