Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyorto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background insurveying techniques, be proficient with the latest surveying technology, andpossess excellent analytical skills. As a Land Surveyor, you will beresponsible for measuring and mapping land boundaries, preparing surveyreports, running a crew for construction staking, and ensuring compliance withall relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct land surveys and perform accurate measurements toestablish property boundaries.
  • Utilize surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS,and drones to collect data.
  • Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings usingCAD and other related software.
  • Analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and compliance withlegal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and constructionteams to provide necessary survey data for project planning and execution.
  • Research historical maps, deeds, and other records to verifysurvey data.
  • Maintain and manage survey equipment and tools.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on surveying matters toclients and team members.
  • Ensure all surveying activities adhere to company policies,safety standards, and ethical practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, CivilEngineering, or a related field preferred
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying.
  • Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software,including total stations, GPS, CAD, and GIS applications.
  • Strong understanding of land survey laws, regulations, andstandards.
  • Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solvingskills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in allwork.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to variousjob sites.
