Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting processes.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports and being responsible for the accuracy of those records.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
- Compiling information, performing month-end tasks (bank recs, general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, etc.)
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support corporate finance activities.
- Assist with account reconciliation and analysis while working with all departments in preparation for monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reporting.

-Preparation of payroll tax reports/filings, sales tax reporting (multiple states), year end W2 reporting, 1099 reporting, etc.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements and preparing year end numbers and worksheets for offsite CPA firm for tax preparation.
