Serve on PBIS committee, assist teachers in the implementation of a social skills curriculum, assist teachers in developing behavioral plans for students with disruptive behaviors, collaborate with school personnel to promote a safe educational climate with consistent behavioral expectations, model strategies for managing unexpected behaviors, provide direct support to students with behavior plans, serve on the crisis intervention team, collect and help analyze data, build relationship with students, assist intake team by observing potential student referrals before enrollment.

Completes Crisis Prevention Institute training and serves as a peer leader to promote compliance with consistency among all staff.

Completes other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 40 hours of approved behavior technician training
• Educational Aide Permit - Ohio Department of Education (may be obtained after accepting position)
• must hold valid Ohio Driver’ License-Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles
