Front End Developer | Data Vizualization | Financial Services | 12m Contract W2
One of our key financial clients is looking for a front-end development consultant to join their technical team, responsible for creating custom dashboards and data visualizations. Using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional front-end design.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom dashboards and data visualizations using D3.js and other relevant libraries/frameworks
- Data Architecture
- Advise and select plotting libraries and charting tools for the project
- Build reusable, well-documented code and libraries for future use
- Use Python to contribute to back-end developments as needed, to support dashboards and data visualizations
You Will Need:
- Proven experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on data visualization
- Expert knowledge of D3.js and its ecosystem
- Proficiency in Python and experience with back-end development
- Familiarity with data processing and manipulation techniques
- Strong understanding of modern web technologies and data visualization libraries(HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Plotly.js, Chart.js)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- 5 years' experience in frontend development
This is a 12-month contract on a W2 basis. We cannot work on C2C or provide sponsorship for this position.
Remote in New York or Boston (in case occasional travel is required).
