The Inventory Control Assistant / Cycle counter supports the inventory department by conducting regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. The Inventory Control Assistant / Cycle counter reports directly to the Inventory Control Manager and is a full-time, hourly, and non-exempt position. 

  • Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour 

Inventory Control Assistant / Cycle counter Primary Duties: 

  • Count and recount inventory to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation as needed
  • Use of Scan gun to scan barcodes to look up or move items 
  • Inventory counts of various products at multiple company locations within Chambersburg, PA
  • Participate in inventory audits with customers as requested by Inventory Control Manager
  • Use of flashlight, monocular/binoculars, scanner, and tape measurers 
  • Other relatable duties as assigned 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and work as a team
  • Ability to focus on details 
  • Must be good with numbers and accuracy
  • Must possess problem solving abilities to research discrepancies
  • Must be comfortable working in various environments: office, warehouse, outdoor lumberyard
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the duration of work hours
