We are an esteemed Estate Planning and Elder Law firm located in the MetroWest Corridor, seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key player in our sales department, you will be responsible for communicating the value of our legal services to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consultative sales, exceptional customer service skills, and a genuine desire to assist individuals facing complex legal matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective new clients (PNCs) to understand their needs and concerns, and provide them with comprehensive information about our legal services.
  • Utilize consultative sales techniques to guide PNCs in making informed decisions that align with their individual circumstances.
  • Collaborate with our Client Intake Specialist, Receptionist, and Paralegal to schedule consultations and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
  • Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines regarding the practice of law, ensuring that all client interactions are conducted under the supervision of an attorney.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for lead generation, prospecting, and contract negotiation to drive business growth.
  • Uphold a positive work culture characterized by mutual respect, collaboration, and a commitment to client service excellence.
  • Share insights and feedback with the team to support continuous improvement and innovation in our sales processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in selling luxury or high-end products and services, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in telephone, video, and in-person sales techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly in generating reports and tracking sales metrics.
  • Knowledge of the legal industry is advantageous but not required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
  • Empathy, resilience, and a genuine desire to assist clients in navigating challenging legal situations.
  • Personal experience overcoming significant obstacles and making life-changing decisions is considered a valuable asset.
