Position: Senior Associate Actuary

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate Actuary to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing actuarial support and expertise to our clients and internal teams. You will work closely with our actuaries, underwriters, and other professionals to provide accurate and timely analysis of insurance risks and develop pricing strategies for our clients.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct actuarial analysis and develop pricing models for various insurance products

- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns in insurance risks

- Collaborate with underwriters to develop pricing strategies that align with business goals

- Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing insurance products and make recommendations for improvements

- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and inform business decisions

- Mentor and train junior actuarial staff

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

- ASA or FSA designation from the Society of Actuaries

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an actuarial role, preferably in the insurance industry

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python

- Knowledge of insurance principles, products, and regulations

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Willingness to travel as needed
