Job Title: AP Specialist

Department: Accounting

Location: Englewood, CO - On-Site

Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

What You’ll Be Doing:

Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Enter/review paper and electronic AP invoices
• Review invoices for appropriate sales tax and seek correction as needed
• Review Comdata transactions for receipts and proper GL Coding or job costing
• Import/Enter payments from Textura, Comdata, UMR into Spectrum Viewpoint accounting software 
• Comdata system administration and provide support to end users
• Weekly check disbursements
• Tracking of lien releases
• Vendor statement reconciliation
• Review of AP aging and resolution of aged outstanding invoices
• Expense report processing
• Annual 1099 reporting

Other responsibilities as assigned

• Job Costing– entry of job cost transactions and review of project specific Job Cost reports
• Sales & Use Tax Reporting –review sales taxes paid and prepare use tax returns or project specific reconciliations
• Certified Payroll - provide back up as needed to Project Accountants for certified payroll review and oversight 

What we’re looking for:

• Two years of accounts payable experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• Strong listening skills and overall communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum and Comdata is preferred

Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills.
