Frauenshuh is looking for a dynamic, results-driven individual to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst. This role is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our Finance and Accounting department, providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making and drive business performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, operating costs, and lease revenue analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the annual financial planning and analysis function, providing critical financial insights and strategic support to the CFO and Property Management team.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues, including: capital management, financial forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Hands-on involvement with budgeting process for Real Estate entities, including the development of annual operating and capital budgets.
• Review Lease Data Entries and Operating Cost (CAM) reconciliations
• Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities and reporting,
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budgets and forecasts.
• Provide a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro forma analyses for senior management including forecasting models, capital expenditure analysis, operating expense analysis, and other projects as requested
• Make recommendations for mitigating risks and overcoming challenges
• Work within established department guidelines/timelines to complete work. Mentor and Cross-train staff, as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned to ensure operational success.
Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
• General knowledge of MRI software and/or ERP report writing experience
• MS Office proficiency; including, advanced Excel skills
• Real Estate industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Strong working knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, lease analysis, operating/payroll costs – with exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to guide the exchange of critical, sometimes complicated, information.
• Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department
• Results-oriented, with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
