The Clinical Business & Operations Program Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the executive administration team within clinical operations. This individual is responsible for managing business planning and strategic initiatives to align with department objectives. Key responsibilities include overseeing functions such as scenario planning, financial assessments, contingency planning, portfolio management, change management, communications, stakeholder engagement, and special projects. Additionally, the role serves as a trusted advisor to the Chief Clinical Operations Officer (CCOO), providing internal and external representation and acting as a strategic sounding board for the executive team.
This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our Seattle campus and remotely.
Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic adviser to executive leadership, addressing emerging issues and collaborating with stakeholders for informed decision-making. Provide structure and focus for broad, ambiguous ideas and distill discussions into actionable plans.
  • Serve as a representative internally and externally on behalf of the CCOO, as requested.
  • Collaborate with administrative and faculty leaders to identify and resolve complex issues affecting the organization's overall functioning.
  • Develop executive meeting charters, facilitate strategy meetings, and partner with executives to plan agendas for various meetings.
  • Support executive leaders in developing critical communications, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Develop and execute communication plans, driving change management practices across the division.
  • Manage business activities within the division, including budgeting, performance monitoring, and implementing action plans.
  • Lead education on financial literacy within the division.
  • Improve and refine business planning tools and processes within the division.
  • Develop and analyze data to establish business objectives and standards across the division.
  • Collaborate with leadership on the development of business plans and business case reasoning for proposed new services, conveying operational, quality, and financial impact.
  • Track goals collaboratively with leadership and educate, train, and coach to raise awareness of budget targets and performance metrics.
  • Diagnose challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and plan for new services or resources across the organization.
  • Lead the development of and maintain staffing modeling for relevant clinical operations roles
  • Lead highly complex and critical projects across departments, fostering collaboration and achieving unified goals.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or related field
  • 5 years' in a complex healthcare setting in an operations, project/program management, analytics or other leadership role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Tableau and PowerPoint experience required
  • Ability to develop broad influences through robust set of relationships across the organization
  • Strong facilitation and decision-making skills
  • Strong analytical, statistical and data-modeling skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to identify and initiate efforts to achieve objectives and promotes accountability for results in a timely and cost-effective manner

Preferred
  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health or related field
  • Experience in an administrative fellowship or as a healthcare consultant is ideal

The annual base salary range for this position is from $115,107.20 to $181,916.80 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance. This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus.
