FREDS APPLIANCE is currently looking to fill several new positions in our Delivery dept. in our Kennewick region. We are a drug free company!

Delivery duties include:

Requires weekend shifts. 4 days a week, 10 hours a day

Must be flexible to work extra shifts if needed for great overtime

CDL not required but current CDL drivers encouraged to apply

Loading and unloading appliances by hand or dolly

Use ShoulderDolly system with a partner to move appliances within homes

Work in a team environment

Be able to use basic tools and hand drill

Setting up appliances in customers’ homes (Including wiring plugs and connecting water lines)

Must have excellent communication skills

Communicate with sales and supervisor about deliveries

Discussions with customers about operations of their product(s)

Trouble shooting small appliance issues

Driving locally and out of town (home nightly)

Removal and disposal of old appliances

Transferring appliances to other store locations

May be required to do occasional warehouse duties

Previous commercial vehicle driving experience a plus

Requirements:

Comfortable driving a box truck up to 26ft long

Provide clean driving record with application, have valid driver license, be over 21 years of age, pass DOT health screen and pre-employment drug screen

Pass a background check
