Shift Manager - Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

We have recently expanded to New Jersey and are looking for a great manager who loves working with people and wants to join a fast growing company with additional stores opening. We are looking for the person who is passionate about their job and excited to come into work each day to work alongside a team that is almost like a second family. Our ideal candidate is skilled at communication and ready to tackle challenges. He or she can learn new tasks quickly while providing outstanding leadership to the team and a high-quality guest experience. The ideal candidate is looking for career and personal growth and has at least one year of restaurant management experience, preferably in a high volume fast-casual or quick-service concept, or a full service restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall efficiency and technical operations of the restaurant
• Maintain proper execution of product and ensure the training and refinement of Team Members
• Manager the opening and closing of the restaurant
• Build relationships with guests, handle guest issues, and be a model of Genuine Hospitality
• Teach and practice the Freddy's standards of Genuine Hospitality, Quality, and Cleanliness
• Lead by example, be vocal and prepared
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and equipment

Requirements:

• Must have prior restaurant management experience as a supervisor or similar hourly manager position responsible for closing and opening, preferably in a high-volume, fast-casual or quick-service restaurant or full service restaurant.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the restaurant for both morning and closing shifts late in the evening.
• Always willing to learn and is receptive to coaching.
• Must be able to work up to a 10-hour shift while standing or walking to perform essential functions
• Will be required to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure the safety of all parties
• Will require full range of physical motion such as: bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, etc.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
