As an/a CNA Trainee, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Makes sure residents are given adequate assistance with meals, nourishment and transportation to dining room.
• Consistently works cooperatively with residents, charge nurses, treatment nurses, restorative nurses, other nursing assistants, physicians, families, consultant personnel and ancillary service providers.
• Is responsible for the safety of residents under his/her supervision.
• Consistently assists with transporting residents to activity programs and other scheduled events.
• Identifies resident problems, concerns and/or changes in condition and reports them immediately to the charge nurse.
• Obtains information necessary to establish a relationship and care for the resident maintaining our philosophy of Person-Centered Care.
• Participates in the development of an individualized plan of care of assigned residents.
• Documents the care and treatment provided to the resident at time of service.
• Participates in activities for residents in their household, geared to the interest and abilities of their elders.

• Must have organizational skills and do sequential events.
• Criminal background check must be completed and clear prior to hiring.
• Must possess knowledge of computer, fax, telephone, copier, Nurse Call System, Security and Fire System, Point Click Care computer documentation system.
