Freedom Mortgage is Hiring an Administrator, Tax Near Marlton, NJ

Summary:The Tax Administrator is responsible for various functions of the Corporate Tax Department. It will include managing the requests of internal and external parties, organization of information, filing of informational returns and other ad hoc projects.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Handling high volume of inbound and outbound emails and calls pertaining to Customer Service for internal and external departments.
  • Manage organizational changes and creating an environment for success for the Tax filing process.
  • Recommend, establish, and implement process improvements to create a more efficient and productive Corporate Tax department.
  • Provide one-on-one assistance with 1099 information requests.
  • Manage communications with external parties, including the Internal Revenue Service and various taxing authorities.
  • Manage the mailing/tracking process related to filing of all tax reports.
  • Maintain department records of filings/requirements and due date calendar.
  • Assist with projects when needed.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Other Job Duties and Responsibilities: Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is an individual contributor.

  • Accounting courses completed – Preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite - Required
Education and/or Experience:
  • High School Degree or equivalent required
  • Associate’s Degree preferred
  • 2 to 4 years of experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:None Required
Work Complexity:Problems and issues faced are general but require analysis of FFOC’s policies and procedures, as well as external best practices and regulations, to assess and resolve.
