AREA SALES MANAGER, US – GENERATOR AND FREEHAND HOTELSWe are looking for an exceptional and passionate Area Sales Manager to join our team in the US. This role is responsible to proactively secure new business for Generator & Freehand US properties. They will support the US Sales Team Directors in all aspects of sales activities to achieve overall hotel goals. The Sales Manager will be responsible to represent the Generator and Freehand brand and embrace its values and culture within each interaction.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB
  • Prepare, implement, and compile data for strategic sales plans, with US Sales Team Directors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts that produce or have the potential to produce revenue for US Generator & Freehand properties
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities, including local businesses, associations and institutions that generate group and transient travel into US markets
  • Accountable for US Sales team accounts' potential performance as well as budget, forecast, and team's target goals
  • Conduct client presentations, site inspections, and other sales related events, ensuring activities are aligned with each hotel strategy and overall sales KPI’s
  • Develop long-term relationships with local decision makers/ influencers in all 5 US markets
  • Deep dive into existing accounts to further develop and grow revenue
  • Manage inbound group leads and prepare sales proposals for Miami, DC, and Chicago properties, within specific market segments
  • Collaborate with US Sales team on the RFP process for each hotel
  • Utilize CRM system, providing monthly sales figures and activities

Your Rock Star Experience
  • Degree in hospitality management, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience as Sales Manager
  • Experience in sales and contract negotiations
  • Hotel systems experience
  • Fluency in job related English both verbal and non-verbal. Other languages are a plus.
  • Must possess strong communication skills both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively via email
  • Polished personal presentation with warm, confident, and gracious personality
  • Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills
  • Attention to detail
Employment Requirements: Employees must be able to furnish necessary identification providing eligibility to work in the United States as defined in the immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA). If hired, the employee must complete and submit an Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) at the start of employment. This position does not offer sponsorship of Work Visas.
