What You'll Do
Primarily responsible for the operation of the hospital switchboard. This includes answering external and internal calls and routing them as needed or requested. It includes contacting physicians and hospital personnel. The position monitors many hospital alarms, follows procedures to notify appropriate staff as documented, and documents actions taken. Responsible for notifications during emergency situations such as weather alerts.
