Under general supervision, provides complex and detailed secretarial and administrative office assistance to a department director and related management, professional and supervisory staff; performs a variety of specialized and technical activities related to a particular division or program; and performs related work as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Two Letters of Recommendation.
• Certificate/transcripts which outline supporting post-secondary course work in business, office administration or a related field.
• Typing certificate documenting speed of 50 WPM.
• Certification documenting achievement of the required typing speed,of 50 wpm may be re-used for a period not to exceed three years from the date that the speed test was administered.

Education:

• Equivalent to graduation from high school, supplemented with post-secondary course work in business, office administration or a related field.

Experience:

• Four years of office support, secretarial or general clerical experience. Experience in dealing with the public and working in a public agency setting are desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.95 - $39.32 per hour

Schedule:
