This Opportunity

FPA is currently searching for a full-time Senior Project Manager – Transportation at our office in Bethlehem, PA.

This position will play a key role in managing the firm’s growth in the Eastern Pennsylvania Region. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, demonstrate a strong knowledge of PennDOT and AASHTO Design Standards, and have a proven track record of successful project procurement and delivery for PennDOT, PTC, Counties, and other agencies in Pennsylvania.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a variety of transportation improvement projects
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and staffing needs
• Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for the Pennsylvania Transportation Market
• Work closely with senior management on pursuit identification and proposal preparation
• Business development and client management
• Provide oversight and mentorship of staff
• Represent FPA at industry events, technical seminars, and business development opportunities
• Collaborate with staff members from other disciplines on large-scale projects

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 10 years of engineering and transportation experience.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania
• Strong knowledge of PennDOT, PTC, and AASHTO Design Standards
• Proficient with PennDOT ECMS
• A proven track record of successful project procurement and delivery for PennDOT, PTC, Counties, and other agencies in Pennsylvania
• Experience with PennDOT HOP Permits for private developments
• Strong communication skills
