The Human Resourced Recruiter is directly responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of hourly positions which includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers, post-offer process (background checks, drug screens, physicals, etc.) on-boarding, and retention.

Essential Job Functions:

• Directly responsible for the entire non-exempt (hourly) recruiting, and training processes which includes sourcing, screening, recruiting, and on-boarding.
• Conduct and coordinate pre-employment process (drug screen, background checks, and E-Verify) and new hire on-boarding including Benefit orientation.
• Manage/ensure compliance with Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and update Personnel Activity Log (PAL).
• Post all open positions internally and externally (Applicant Pro internet, Fresh Express locations, etc.)
• Enter new hire information and maintain Workday (HRIS) system.
• Execute employee referral program.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with the overall pre-employment I-9, E-verify, E-Screen and Background Check compliance process
• Participate in routine walk through of production floor for employee engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Computer literate (MS Office: Excel, Word and Power Point). Workday proficiency a plus.
• Knowledge of Affirmative Action Plans and Employment Law
• Ability to administer HR processes, policy, and procedures.

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• Previous experience working in a Union environment
• AS400, Kronos, Ceridian, or Workday experience

Education/Training:

High school diploma required

Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred but not required

Required Experience:

Minimum of 1-year recruiting experience, preferably in an HR/production environment.

Food Safety Role & Responsibility:

The HR Recruiter is responsible for providing support, communicating, and ensuring compliance with the Global Food Safety Policy Manual POL and PROC 7.2

The incumbent is specifically responsible for:

• Ensuring all Job Descriptions meet FSSC requirements
• Training requirements are defined for all positions related to food safety and quality within his/her area of responsibility.

As an individual, the incumbent must understand the Food Safety Statement, complete the required training, perform work assignments in accordance with training and display an acceptable level of competency with all Quality Assurance/Safety/Security policies and training requirements. Areas of food safety training will include, but are not limited to, GMP, HACCP, Listeria, Food Safety and Quality Statement, FSSC 22000/Global Food Safety Policy/Food Safety Goals, Visitor/Food/Site Security, Emergency Preparedness, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
