Key Responsibilities Internal Communications: Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications such as memos, newsletters, and announcements. Collaborate with different departments to ensure consistent messaging throughout the company. Act as a liaison between management and staff to address concerns, feedback, and company updates. External Communications: Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key partners. Draft press releases, media pitches, and other external communications materials. Respond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews and public appearances. Manage the company’s social media presence, ensuring brand consistency and engagement with followers. Crisis Communications: Assist in creating and executing crisis communication strategies. Monitor industry trends and public sentiment to manage and mitigate potential risks. Provide timely responses to any negative media or social media mentions. Reporting and Analysis: Monitor the effectiveness of communication strategies using analytics tools. Prepare reports on communication activities, media coverage, and audience engagement. Provide insights and recommendations for improving communication efforts. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience with crisis communication strategies is a plus.
