Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Automation Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and stability of our software and infrastructure. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring software excellence, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for software applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand system functionalities and create effective test plans.
• Utilize automation frameworks such as Jest, K6, Cypress or similar to conduct backend and frontend testing.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of automated testing, adjusting strategies as needed to improve test coverage.
• Participate in the continuous integration and delivery pipeline to ensure the seamless deployment of quality software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within automated testing environments.
• Maintain documentation for test cases and automation protocols.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Jest, K6, Cypress, or similar.
• Basic programming skills in languages like JavaScript and Python.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn new testing methods and tools in a fast-paced industry.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of React, Node, or Flutter.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS).
