What You Will Do

The purpose of this role is to support the Procurement & Co-Manufacturing teams to ensure the financial accounting and reporting needs of the organizations are met and support the achievement of budgeted financial goals and objectives.

• Develop and calculate metrics to facilitate key performance indicators.
• Provide financial advice to the management team to ensure sound financial and operational decisions.
• Support monthly close process including timely monthly reporting of plan performance.
• Support the preparation of the financial supply chain & co-manufacturing budget/plan & support product standard costs.
• Provide solid analysis of procurement & co-manufacturing performance on a monthly basis vs plan, prior year, and forecasts
• Instill strong cost control and planning discipline to the team in controlling costs.
• Work with plant/corporate finance on several initiatives including providing cost information for innovation and cost reduction projects, identifying cost/performance improvement opportunities and leadership of companywide initiatives.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the supply chain accounting systems and records, as well as strict compliance to all company policies, procedures, and controls.
• Support tracking and reporting CAPEX spending relating to co-manufacturing

How You Will Make An Impact

Key focus areas include co-manufacturing & materials procurement cost control:

• Support development and maintain standard cost of products & materials.
• Provide analysis of PPV & co-manufacturing variances
• Support accuracy of inventory reporting

What You Will Bring

• A minimum of three to five years of related experience, food industry experience preferred.
• A change agent—having professionalized business processes and a team.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills under pressing time constraints.
• Ability to prioritize and control multiple tasks at the same time.
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships across various functional areas both internally and externally.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on, “roll up the sleeves” and “get it done” attitude who leads and works with others.
• A strong presence and likeability that encourages others to engage.
