The Role
The Lead Installation Technician is responsible for Freshwater’s installation efforts across client projects and will oversee and lead a team of technicians while onsite during the installation. They will be responsible for ensuring the team's productivity, quality of work, and adherence to safety standards.
Job Requirements/Duties:
· Managing and conducting all local on-site client digital signage installations
· The ability to manage on-site and remote installations with our third-party partners
· The ability to work with our business and project teams to scope out installation efforts and navigate installation challenges
· Maintains compliance with company policies; consults with HR and project management to ensure consistent corrective measures are taken and documentation completed
· Establish expectations and motivate crews to consistently meet or exceed goals
· Demonstrate the ability to obtain, organize, and manage materials effectively and develop as-built documentation
· Will manage Freshwater’s warehouse activities which include staging equipment, managing inventory, and managing all shipping, and receiving.
· Demonstrates excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem-solving techniques
· Forecast job costs accurately (i.e., labor, material, rental equipment, etc.)
· Wire CAT6 data jacks; install and terminate speakers; install TVs, video wall displays, dvLED video walls, and digital media players
· Complete and test installation in preparation for onsite commissioning
· Warehouse organization and shipment receiving duties as needed
· Provide client training
· Attend manufacturer's training as needed
· Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and overnights
· Ability to work out of town - up to a week at a time
· Complete site visits and provide site details to the project management and business development teams
· Provide hardware recommendations
· Basic troubleshooting of audio and digital signage equipment
· Provide personal hand tools and power tools
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School diploma or the equivalent
· Valid MI Driver's License
· Clean driving record
· Must be able to travel to and from the job site/Freshwater Digital Office
· Experience preferred but not required
General Qualifications:
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
· Must be comfortable with heights under 40’
· Must be comfortable and able to climb ladders and scaffolding
· Energetic, self-starter with a positive attitude
· Some travel with overnight stays
· Must be able to work the occasional nights

· Participate in new installations, repairs/alterations to existing installations, and preventative maintenance

· Must be able to work on feet for prolonged periods of time while using tools and perform repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping
· Must comply with dress code requirements
