Responsibilities:

• Drive the continued development of innovative solutions and collaborate with others on the development of new products, processes, and services for specialised markets.

• Define and asses engineering risks, outlining impacts, and proposing options.

• Make pragmatic decisions about technical trade-offs within engineering projects/tasks.   

• Provide technical expertise and support to all related parties.

• Formulate and execute strategies to meet customer specifications and deliver projects in a timely manner.  

• Identify, outline, and manage the development needs of engineering associates.

• Generate and monitor KPI’s, measuring team and customer performance.

• Assist in the management, delegation of budgets, ensuring projects are achieved within budgetary constraints.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, master’s degree is desirable.
• 15 years’ practical engineering experience within the Oil & Gas industry, with 5 years’ experience managing and leading teams. Excellent knowledge of industry codes and regulations.
• Ability to work through constraints of budget, timelines, schedules, and scope.
• Strong CAD abilities, experience in SolidWorks is essential.
• Excellent IT skills, highly proficient in Microsoft applications, SAP experience would be preferred. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and lead and mentor others.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage own workload in a fast turnaround environment is essential
