Responsibilities:
- Manage a staff of salaried professionals who serve as the customer interface, act as voice of the customer, related to delivery and production priorities.
- Support of regional S&OP process and ongoing execution, to include demand consolidation and capacity balancing across Asheville and Durham sites. Represents CF&S NA in global S&OP process.
- Responsible for management, control and maintenance of demand management data in ERP system: forecast, customer orders, scheduling agreements.
- Responsible for import/export logistics and compliance support for Asheville and Durham sites.
- Responsible for managing & reporting inventory levels to support working capital goals and to mitigate stock-outs and/or dead stock.
- Support HSE, six sigma, and other projects.
- Participate in TS16949 & ISO14001 and other audit processes.
Qualifications:
- BS Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar is required.
- MBA and/or relevant certification (CPIM, CSCP, CPM, etc) strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years management experience in manufacturing preferred
- 5 - 10 years manufacturing planning and / or customer support experience
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (SME-level knowledge of SAP experience strongly preferred) - materials management, forecasting, material requirements planning, inventory control, sales & distribution.
- MS Office products, with expertise in Excel.
- Understanding of ISO9001 / IATF16949 quality management systems.
- Ability to lead, coach, and manage a team of supply chain professionals
- Positive and professional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and lead across functional boundaries, in a global business environment.
- Ability to analyze requirements data from various sources to determine supply needs. Strong Excel skills.
- Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities; large amounts of data.
