Manufacturing Supervisor Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Programming: Optimize CNC machine operations for peak efficiency.
• Tooling & Materials Management: Requisition necessary tools and raw materials to keep production on track.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect production outputs to ensure they meet specifications.
• Production Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules, estimating necessary worker hours.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and interpret job specifications for workers.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements in production methods and equipment performance.
• Team Leadership: Resolve work issues, motivate workers, and foster a collaborative environment.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate time and production records, coordinating with other departments to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant degree or certification preferred.
• Experience: 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production, with a focus on CNC operations.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on meeting KPIs and metrics.
• Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues.
• Value for Customers: Delivers superior value through commitment to quality, service and reliability.
