Material Handler Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of deliveries to include verifying bills of lading, checking boxes for damage, counting, unloading freight, separating freight by priority.
- Perform keying, printing and sorting reports.
- Perform quality checks by measuring parts for hold, reject or accept including completion of appropriate forms, stock locate parts.
- Use of various material handling equipment, daily computer transactions, and maintain an orderly, clean work area.
- High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree
- High level of commitment and flexibility
- Willingness and ability to work shifts
- Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment
- Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues.
