Job Summary :

Friendly Acura of Middletown is currently seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers who require automotive services at our dealership.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing repair orders, and ensuring that all vehicles are repaired in a timely and efficient manner.

This is a full-time, individual contributor position with a competitive salary in the auto industry.

Compensation & Benefits :

This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000-$90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities :

• Greet and assist customers with scheduling service appointments and understanding their vehicle's service needs
• Conduct a thorough vehicle walk-around with customers to accurately identify and document all necessary repairs
• Provide accurate and detailed estimates for services and repairs, ensuring customers understand the work to be done and associated costs
• Communicate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed on schedule and to the customer's satisfaction
• Upsell additional services and maintenance plans to customers as needed
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and repair orders
• Handle customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
• Stay current on all dealership products, services, and promotions
• Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures
• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times to provide the best customer service experience

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or related customer service role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software
• Familiarity with dealership and manufacturer procedures and guidelines preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
