Responsibilities

- Provide medical care to patients in a fast-paced urgent care setting, including taking vital signs and conducting diagnostic evaluations as necessary.
- Administer IV infusions and perform specimen collection and processing with accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient information and medical histories.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
- Participate in medical office duties, including answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized medical office environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide emotional support and behavioral health guidance to patients, including toddlers and their families.

Qualifications

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the position is located.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience working in a medical office or urgent care setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation procedures.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies, as necessary.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working with toddlers and their families.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Certification in IV infusion or related field is preferred.
