Job Summary:
Within the Mission and Strategic Plan established for Friendship Industries, Inc. and Able Solutions, INC, the Human Resources (HR) Clerk serves as a support to the Human Resources Department and Accounting. This position administers various human resources administrative duties, including personnel-related functions, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
Payroll Processing and Accounting Administration
· Set up new production employees in the payroll and timekeeping systems
· Maintain payroll records and reports such as PTO balances for all production employees
· Review and reclassify overtime in the timekeeping system appropriately
· Ensure accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing
· Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries
· Makes daily deposit using remote deposit capture software/device
Recruitment Support
· Coordinate and assist in the onboarding process for new hires
· Reviews daily time reports from production for completeness, accuracy, and address any concerns
· Prepare and distribute employment offer letters and related documentation
· Assist in scheduling job interviews
Benefit Administration
· Assist employees with benefits enrollment and question
· Maintain benefits records and ensure they are accurately reflected in the system
Employee Records Management:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance data
· Maintain benefits records and ensure they are accurately reflected in the system.
· Assist in the onboarding process by preparing new employee files and processing background checks.
General Administrative Support:
· Answer and direct phone calls, handle correspondence, and manage HR department’s email inbox
· Monitors incoming faxes and distributes to the appropriate staff member
· Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews and other HR-related events
· Prepare and distribute HR-related communications and documents
· Asist with translating documents and or interpreting in various meetings
· Continues cross training for other accounting/office duties and serves as backup during other accounting/office staff absences
Compliance and Reporting:
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
· Assist in the preparation of HR Reports and metrics
Communication and Collaboration
Essential Skillset:
· Fluent in Spanish
Education:
High School/GED or 2 year of Human Resources/Accounting work experience

Human Resources Manager
