Our Controls Technicians install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation, control circuits, and other equipment used in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
Electronics Fundamentals/circuits/Ohm s Law/schematic interpretation, passive and active semiconductor components
Electrical Power Distribution (MCC, Switchgear)/Low Voltage DC thru 480V three phase (600 VAC f/Canada)
Control Signals 4-20ma, 0-5V, 0-10V, Frequency, Digital
Hardware Install/configure/diagnose internal and external devices
Understanding of Basic Controls PLC Programming, Closed Loop Process Control, OIT interface programming, VFDs, Servo Motion Control, Safety Circuits
Understanding of Basic Networking Install/configure/diagnose plant floor networks (Ethernet, RIO, DH , Controlnet, Devicenet)
Mechanical Experience Understanding of mechanical systems (Pumps/Motors/Valves/pneumatics/hydraulics)
General Instrumentation Temperature/Pressure/Flow/Level transducers

Professional insight and knowledge of the operation of our equipment will enable you to understand problems and take action to resolve issues. Do you have an electrical certification, maintenance manufacturing experience, technical school training, or welding experience?
If so, you are likely well-equipped to join the team. We have a robust training program that can benefit you provided that you have a proven base knowledge of mechanical maintenance repair (especially with regard to electrical repair multi-craft repairs). Although it s not required, many managers prefer that candidates have at least two years training experience in mechanical/electrical repair in a manufacturing environment.
