THIS IS A IN OFFICE POSITION

Who we’re looking for :

This position will be responsible for the bi-weekly internal processing of payroll and related reporting.

Job Responsibilities :

• A strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance.
• Ability to process payroll using third-party software for approximately 400 employees. UKG, Ultimate or Kronos experience a plus.
• Handle garnishments and court-ordered child support deductions.
• Maintain personnel records.
• Preparation and understanding of certified payroll a must.
• Complete employment / income verifications and unemployment paperwork.
• Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll.
• Scan and deposit daily cash receipts.
• Other projects and responsibilities as needed.

What you need to have :

• 3 or more years of diverse experience with Payroll REQUIRED.
• Demonstrated efficiency with payroll and accounting software packages.
• Demonstrated basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to adapt to rapid changes / rapid work environment, manage competing demands.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills a must.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain and facilitate positive employee relationships.
• Recognition and respect for the confidential nature of the work.
• Excellent communication and skills (oral and written).
• Must be willing to participate in and pass F&R’s pre-employment screening including a background investigation, drug screening and driving record.
