Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordination of the manufacturing process, workflow, and operations in support of the production area to ensure that volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved.
    Support Production Supervisor to ensure efficient and adequate processes are established to meet the organization's production requirements with the highest quality.
  • Actively participate in all production and design engineering support functions. Lead these activities in a best practice and efficient manner.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting activities; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, test, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
  • Estimate manufacturing costs, determine standards, make recommendations on cost reductions and schedule improvements. Ensure efficient and effective manufacturing and production operations support to company objectives for sales, finance, engineering, and project/program management.
  • Support manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality and schedule related issues with their hardware.
  • Design and plan for manufacturing and assembly activities that include personnel requirements, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and tooling requirements for legacy, re-order, and new development programs.
  • Develop, evaluate, and deliver innovative solutions to constantly improve process capability, production volume and manufacturing quality while improving the efficiency and cost requirements of low and high-volume assembly activities.
  • Develop detailed work instructions describing the manufacturing and assembly process details for programs including legacy, re-order and new developments in addition to providing support during traveler generation.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Develop, train, and expand departments general knowledge base with respect to: Lean Manufacturing, Visual Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provide training and support for all assembly personnel as necessary on proper assembly practices, procedures, and tool usage.
  • Support planning, deployment, inventory, operating procedures, maintenance and repair of capital equipment and manufacturing tooling.
  • Interface with Quality in resolving all non-conformance issues and support the UCR, NCMR and FAR processes when applicable.
  • Support KPI metrics to measure, monitor and control the operational health of functional groups within each department.
Qualifications:
HOW TO SUCCEED
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study. Equivalent education, training or experience may be substitued.
  • 10 years or more of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experienced in die attach, wire bonding, gap welding, clean room practices and MIL certifications a plus.

Salary Range: $133,567 - $170,149 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
