Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional TalentDescriptionAs a Project Manager at Frontier-Kemper, reporting to the VP of Operations, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage all aspects of mechanical projects from design through construction and commissioning.
- Work closely with clients to execute large mechanical installations at industrial sites nationwide.
- Assist with the preparation of bid proposals
- Review bid documents and perform quantity take-offs
- Work closely with clients to solve project challenges and identify value engineering opportunities
- Integrate new technology and product innovations.
- Assist with preparation of post-bid work plans, procurement, scheduling, and cost control
- Actively participate in project tracking and post-job analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or similar
- 5 or more years’ experience in heavy civil, mining, construction, or equipment OEM.
- Previous experience with project management, mechanical design engineering, estimating, and/or project scheduling
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on time management and organizational skills
- Ability and willingness to occasionally visit sites
