Job Overview:
We are seeking a vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Duties:
- Patrol and monitor event venues to maintain order and safety.
- Identify and report suspicious activities or potential security threats.
- Assist in managing crowds and directing foot traffic.
- Ensure compliance with event policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, providing appropriate assistance.
- Collaborate with event staff and law enforcement when necessary.
Requirements:
- Must meet the hiring requirements set by the state of Michigan for security guards.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
- Must be physically fit to perform the duties of the job, including walking and standing for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
