The University System of Maryland at Hagerstown ( USMH ), whose Human Resources are coordinated by Frostburg State University, seeks an innovative and self-directed person for the full-time, exempt position, for a Development Coordinator.

Annual salary for the position is $60.000-$62,437. USMH is in downtown Hagerstown and is one of three regional higher education centers in the University System of Maryland offering programs from five universities at one local campus.

About the University : The University System of Maryland at Hagerstown ( USMH ) is a regional higher education center that offers the last two years of undergraduate degrees and graduate programs of partner universities within the University System of Maryland at its facility in downtown Hagerstown.

Currently, USMH enrolls around 200 students.

Description of Ongoing / New Duties

The position is overseen by the Director of Advancement and Outreach. The development Coordinator is responsible for capital fundraising, planned giving, major gifts, naming rights, grants, and annual campaigns.

Additionally, the coordinator manages the USMH fundraising software and manages donor relations by attending community events regularly and coordinating USMH events to build rapport with stakeholders.

This position will require some evening hours.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree and experience in administering development campaigns and cultivating donors.

Preferred Qualifications

Three years’ experience in administering development campaigns and cultivating donors.
