Duties

- Prepare and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
- Handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system with ease.
- Bus tables, refill beverages, and ensure that all areas of the restaurant are clean and well-maintained.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure that all food is prepared to our high standards.
- Work effectively in a team environment and communicate with coworkers to achieve common goals.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Meet and maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.

Skills

- Experience in a kitchen and food preparation environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.75 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
