Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff.
- Work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
- Oversee efforts of less senior staff and responsible for efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
- Ensure consistent submission of high-quality products to the Government.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy—oral and written.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility adjudication and the ability to obtain and maintain special accesses.
- Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 8 years’ experience in software development; or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 10 years’ experience in software development
- Relevant experience performing engineering activities in the Government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit or non-profit Government support, or development contractor arena
- Programming experience with Python, MariaDB, React, NoSQL as well as at least two of the following: Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, & Material UI.
- A minimum of four years of experience in full stack development with complex cyber security in classified environments
- Experience leading complex cyber security software development and deployment activities in classified environments.
- Familiarity & knowledge:
- Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud & Nifi
- Experience or Knowledge in the following Areas:
- Agile software development, agile methodologies, agile project management, software project management, defensive cyber military operations, software development life cycle management, program/project management, systems engineering, strategic planning, cross-functional team
- Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command
- Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office
- CISSP or equivalent
