This position involves executing the division's land acquisition strategy by identifying, negotiating, and acquiring new land and lots to meet future needs. It also includes building and maintaining relationships with landowners, sellers, developers, and brokers to expand the division’s visibility and market presence. Effective communication with internal and external partners, division leadership, and the executive team is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for land/lot acquisition
• Negotiate and acquire land and lots necessary to meet company goals and projections
• Prospect for potential land acquisition opportunities
• Establish & maintain relationships with (Land) developers, brokers & sellers
• Analyze land development proformas
• Draft & submit letters of intent
• monitor competitor behavior
• conduct market research
• Assist the Entitlements group- coordinate with engineers, land planners, architects and general contractors
• Manage land purchases through due diligence

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• 5 years' experience within the homebuilding industry (with concentration in Land)
• Exposure to homebuilding or land development environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
