What You'll Do
- Process time sheet and payroll data into billable Medicaid units within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) Billing system (currently using MITC & MyBilling
- Transmit billing files to the Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MMCOs) and eMedNY for Medicaid Fee for Service (FFS) for bi-weekly basis billing
- Perform monthly reconciliations of CDPS program Accounts Receivable general ledger accounts through use of aging reports and accounting system reports
- Complete periodic internal audits of records maintained in the CDPS billing files, done manually
- Maintain unit statistics for assigned program areas for Agency reporting
What You Bring
- Associates degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Medical Billing
- 2 years of prior billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic computer skills required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
